ManageEngine will demonstrate ManageEngine Application Manager 10.0 — including a preview of its VMware vFabric tcServer functionality — in booth #1520 at VMworld 2011, being held at The Venetian and The Wynn hotels in Las Vegas, August 29–September 1, 2011.
In response to market demands, ManageEngine will be at VMworld exhibiting a diverse portfolio of IT management solutions for multi-vendor, hybrid environments. With its support for VMware software and Microsoft, and latest feature additions, ManageEngine Applications Manager supports 50+ application servers, servers, databases and transactions spanning physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures, along with auto-provisioning of virtual systems.
“We were one of the first vendors to have a complete portfolio for virtualization monitoring,” said Gibu Kurian, product manager, ManageEngine. “With the support for VMware vCenter Server and the upcoming VMware vFabric tcServer support, it is our commitment to keep up with the latest technologies so our customers don’t have to worry about their growing infrastructure.”
The latest version of Applications Manager adds to ManageEngine’s existing virtualization portfolio that includes API integration with VMware software, auto-provisioning based on application health, multi-vendor support and in-depth reporting stats on server performance.
With support for VMware vCenter Server, Applications Manager provides IT teams the ability to discover the entire organization’s virtual infrastructure through VMware vCenter Server and provide dependency mapping of its components. This helps track the health status of virtual resources and model them the same way they are configured in VMware vCenter Server. VMware infrastructure components can be categorized within Applications Manager with minimal configuration, e.g., data centers, clusters, VMware ESX™ and VMware ESXi hosts, and VMs.
Applications Manager will also add support for VMware vFabric tcServer that will enable IT administrators to keep track of the performance of VMware vFabric tcServer as well as the Spring applications deployed on those servers. To ensure satisfactory performance of their virtual applications, users can measure end user experience pre- and post- virtualization project.
As part of the 10.0 release, Applications Manager will enhance its end user experience monitoring with support for LDAP, DNS, Ping and Mail Server RTT. The new version also gains cloud monitoring enhancements as well as support for Amazon S3 services.
