Germany's ADAC e.V. Selected VMware Mirage to Migrate their Applications, Data and Operating System
Germany's ADAC e.V. is Europe's largest automobile association with more than 18 million members using the company's various services from roadside assistance to automobile insurance. ADAC decided to move several smaller offices into one main office location in Munich. This enabled them to introduce a new way for their employees to work. Employees now have the option to sit at any desk in any part of the building and can easily access their desktop wherever they are. VMware Mirage was selected as it was the only product with the ability to migrate all of the companies applications, application data, user data and operating system.
