Cisco Gaining on New Cloud Computing Venture with BMC Software

Cisco (CSCO) is up more than 2% in early Monday trade, after announcing a strategic alliance with BMC Software (BMC) to develop and market large-scale multi-tenant cloud computing infrastructures. As part of the new alliance, Cisco and BMC today rolled out the Integrated Cloud Delivery Platform, designed for service providers and large-scale private cloud computing environments. BMC shares are down about $0.16 this morning to $45.76.
