Addressing storage management challenges using open source SDS controller

Cost pressures, explosive data growth and cloud workloads are driving the need for fundamental shift in how storage resources are being managed in the private cloud. In this session we present open Software Defined Storage (SDS) controller framework augmenting the OpenStack storage services (i.e., Cinder, Manila, Swift) to address storage management challenges and demonstrate an early prototype work.
