Designed for zero-administration and zero-install, PAS 20T is a single, virtualized solution for data protection, disaster recovery, business continuity, test and development or any application that creates copies of production data. Extending Actifio’s full line of radically simple copy data management offerings, PAS 20T allows a user to manage application data with a single Service Level Agreement (SLA) and recover it instantly for any application (virtual or physical) from any point-in-time, at any location.

PAS 20T is an industry-first copy data management solution built to protect both physical and virtual servers running Linux and Windows, including object level recovery for Microsoft File Server, SQL Server, Exchange and SharePoint. The system is ideal for VMware environments, directly integrating through the VMware vStorage API to virtualize the common data management functions – Copy, Store, Move and Restore – into a single, fully optimized, and dramatically more efficient storage platform.

Availability
PAS 20T is the first solution to bring enterprise-class data management to millions of midmarket enterprises worldwide. The new solution is available immediately in limited quantities; general availability is scheduled for Q4 2012.
